How Unlocked Financial Futures collects, uses, and protects information about your family.
Unlocked Financial Futures is a K–8 financial literacy program operating as a 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) after-school program at Imagine Lincoln Public Charter School in Temple Hills, MD. This policy covers the information we collect through unlockedfinancialfutures.org, our Enrollment Interest form, and our Parent Intake form.
When you submit interest in the program, we collect: parent/guardian name, student name, grade level, email, phone number, and any comments you provide.
When you complete the full parent intake form (for accepted students), we additionally collect:
We use the information you provide to:
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Submissions are stored in a hosted Postgres database (Supabase), encrypted in transit and at rest. The public-facing forms can only add new records — they cannot read, edit, or delete any existing data, including records they just submitted. Only program staff who have been individually invited as collaborators can view or manage submissions, through a login-protected dashboard.
Access is limited to Unlocked Financial Futures program staff with a legitimate need to see it, and — where required for safety, compliance, or grant reporting — our school partner (Imagine Lincoln Public Charter School) and funder. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes, and we only disclose it beyond this circle if required by law or necessary to protect someone's health or safety.
You can ask us to show you what information we have on file for your family, correct it, or delete it, at any time. Email Kimberly@unlockedfinancialfutures.org and we'll respond directly.
We keep submitted information for as long as your child is enrolled, plus any period required for grant recordkeeping afterward. After that, we delete it or retain it only in de-identified form.
This program serves students in grades 5–8. All information about a student is submitted by their parent or guardian through our forms — we do not collect information directly from children online.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let enrolled families know directly.
